Dear passingby,

I don’t understand the point you are trying to make. It is true that civilizations come and go, but to undermine a civilization or to reject the admiration of just rule, simply because it’s “gone” – doesn’t serve much of a purpose except to further feed a cynic’s point of view.

The current state of the muslim world has been reached post world-war 1, after the Sultanate was both forced down, and the last ruling Caliphah stepped down from the throne. Since that time, the “Allied forces” carved up the empire for obvious interests, set up governments that served these interests, and have left the general mess you see today. This is the aftermath of Euro-centric “diplomacy”. The ‘problems’ in the muslim world that you speak about began not 80 years ago, a trifle amount when you compare that to 1453 years of Islamic History, 700 of which were ruled by the Ottomans. 80 years, SINCE the Ottoman Sultanate came down, from european backed power games and greed.

But I digress – the main point is that ‘Ottoman’ is not a Nationality, but it is an ideal which was implemented for 700 years, to rule its peoples – muslim, christian, jew, etc. – justly – and they did. The Ottoman way is the real Islamic way, and those who hold this ideal highly, meaning value it, desire a return of for the betterment of the world. Your last statement implies that emigrating to a nation entails that you drop your rich cultural heritage and traditions. I live in America, and value my life here, because of the general freedoms and tolerance- freedoms which were widely enjoyed for centuries under: – the Ottomans. So I don’t know exactly what is making you so haughty, – but, Insh’Allah you & I will both see the return of the Ottomans and the return of justice to this world. Biz Osmanliyiz and Pek Sanliyiz!

P.S. – I admire the rich traditions of China as well, and appreciate that although the government is now Communist, the people still value and honor their cultural past.

look at muslim population around the world today. ha! they r either living under dictator rule or living in a stone age livestyle.
no wonder many of those trying to get out of their hell hole migrate to a better place like europe and america.
